No Network Adapter with Intel I219-LM

Greetings,

I am getting a "No Network Adapter" error when trying to install ESXi 7U3d. If I am reading the compatibility list correctly this adapter should be supported natively by 7U3d as in the compatibility guide?

P.s. Additionally, creating a custom ISO with the USB NIC Fling doesn't work either, as others have commented in this bug report. Hence this workaround sadly isn't possible either.

Honestly I have not tried it myself, but it is not excluded that the I219-LM object may present itself with an unrecognized VID / PID combination. AFAIK people of good will have developed drivers that may help you solve the problem, you can find them here:
