New portgroup has no active ports

Hi,

I've added a second NIC in my ESXi 6.5 server, created a second vswitch and connected the 2nd NIC to it.

When i create a new port group and use the new vswitch with that 2nd NIC the active ports will remain zero.

I can use the new port group in a VM but the status will be disconnected and no traffic is possible.

I'm afraid I'm missing something.....

The link status led on both the NIC and switch are on and blinking btw

Hi,

Either you have added the NIC in unsued or standby of vswitch. Share the pic of Vswitch configuraiton.

Else it should work with one NIC also.

Thanks, after removing the 2nd portgroup, vswitch etc and adding it again (like a did several times before ) it's working nog
