  • 1.  Network error : Connection refused when putty to vSphere

    hi guys,

    Anybody got any idea how over come this issue.

    Tested connecting putty with vmware ESXi 3.5 have no problem, but when i upgrade my host to vSphere, i started encountery Network error: connection refused.

    it seems something is blocking me to access the vSphere for console mode.

    please advice.

    So just re-enable ssh access to ESXi 4 if you need it.

    Make sure port 22 is open and ssh is enabled on the esx server. Also try restarting the sshd and network service on the esx server.
