I recive this message when the system tries to setting up the network interface:

    eth0 device: Advanced Micro Devices \[AMD] 79c970 \[PCnet32 LANCE] (rev 10)

eth0 No configuration found for eth0

    Waiting for mandatory devices: eth-id-00:0c:29:49:fd:a4

and my Suse don't join the network. I've followed all the step to configure the Network card with the yast command.

    Thanks for the help.

Yeah, it's easily. If you have router on your network, enable the dhcp server, try to use a 192.168.x.x IP class, and let the router give an Ip address from your network range. Open a browser with the address that your dhcp server gave to the virtual machine and that's it.

    Hope this helps.

It's working great for me with the exception of not having an FTP server running on the box. It makes it difficult to update and install plugins.

    Any suggestions?

I guessed opensuse as the root password for opensuse 10.1 and it worked, it also is the user id found using "who am i" or logname from a Konsole.
