    Hi

I have faced new issue today .

My vm's OS is linux I did scp (copy a file between two linux vm) my speed transfer was too slow about 2MB/s but after a connect/disconnect network for that vm speed transfer improved and increase to 250MB/S

My network configure is LACP and my pnic is 10G

You will need to provide more information.

Are the VMs on the same host, or on different hosts?

If the same host, are they connected to port groups within the same vSwitch or different vSwitches?

If different hosts, the uplinks and physical devices between the hosts could also be factors.

There is no difference this will happen in both mode ( 2vms in same host or 2 vms on different hosts)

If that is the case your LACP configuration and 10gig pNIC are irrelevant.

    More info needed:

Guest OS distribution/version, vNIC type, vSwitch and port group configuration, VMware Tools version

    vMxnet3

but I know if chnage the vnic type to E1000 the issue will solve because it is such as connect and disconnnect network on vm . but major question is why happen this issue ?

And if you leave E1000 set and connected for a long period of time?

Perhaps the VMXNET3 driver needs reinstalling or updating.

As the problem will be solve with connect/disconnect vnic thus if add a new vmnic(E100e)  instead of previous vmnic(vMxnet3) surely will be solve this issue

but this issue happen after about 4 months on this vm and with chage vnic type it will not shortly show the result and had to take a few months to see the results . eventualy I am so confused why happen this issue and confusing me that cannot for the root cause of the problem

In which case the cause may be some other change in your environment - a host patch, a guest patch, a new driver, some configuration change...

Perhaps other forum users can suggest something.
