  • 1.  Multiple iscsi initiators to one iscsi target

    Hi,

    Is it possible to have one iscsi target, but then have multiple iscsi initiators connected to the one target ?

    My scenario will be one Thecus 8800 NAS server and then have 3 x vsphere servers connect to it via iscsi, so 3x initiators to the one isci target, is this possible ?

    Would this scenario ever be possible in esx 3.5.x ?

    Sure. There is no problem at all, you just need to configure your NAS to accept connections from this ESX Servers.

    Is there any VMware documentation to support/show this ? I have tried seacrhing but cant seem to find the right document.
