Moving license from a server to another ?

Hi,

I have a license for vsphere standard 7, but the server is too old now, is it possible to migrate to a new server and move the license as well to the new server ? 

Another question if the license vSphere standard is it only for vSphere 7 or I can add it to vSPhere 8 for example ?

Unless licensing has changed lately, you can use your license on other hardware. It's your responsibility to not assign the key to more CPUs/Cores that purchased.

Every version needs their own license keys. If you have an active subscription, you can upgrade your license key in the Broadcom Support Portal.
