    Hi,

    We are looking at adding a new cluster with 2 hosts, these would be on the new subscription based licensing.

    Can we manage these and the older style non subscription license on the one vCenter?

    To be clear, it would be one vCenter, but separate clusters one with new subscription license, and the other with the older style that's in contract until July 2026.

    @Paddy McNee,
    I hope you're referring old to perpetual license?

    @Paddy McNee,

    Well, either it perpetual / term licenses, since vSphere license is applied at the host level we can still expand and apply the new subscription keys to new hosts in the same cluster. However, vSAN license keys are applied at the cluster level so you are required to create a new cluster and apply the new subscription license.
