You don't need to reboot server after changing %temp% folder, just re-run Converter.exe.

    Can you upload crash-dump file?

The drwtsn32.exe is removed in Vista and Windows Server2008. My server is a 2008 server :(

Try to install converter into a Windows 2003 or XP machine.

    And use the remote agent.

Or also try to use Converter 3.0.3 (but I never try it on 2008).

Into the logfile that I've post, we can read : Failed to lookup account ABC\Domain Admins (err: 1332, )

It's absolutly normal, my server is a french installation and this user named "Administrateur du Domaine" can I change this user who is use to launch my service ?

I've the same problem with a 2003 srv or XP... I think, the problem is, I've french installation and the service request the user ABC\Domain Admins but this user don't exist it's 'administrateur du domaine" on a french installation... Can I change this user request for the "french user name" ?

I experienced the same problem. In my case I had a "hardened" OS with "Client for Microsoft Networking" disabled in the network connection, and the Server and Workstation services stopped. By enabling these, I was able to complete the installation.

    Hi All

Same problem with Hungarian Windows 2000 SBS SP4

-I set the TEMP and TMP directories to c:\tmp

-I made the Security Group "Domain Admins"

-I put "rendszergazda" into the Domain Admins group and made Domain Admins member of "Rendszergazdák" group.

    Install finished without error...

    I could start P2V.

Same thing on a French Windows Install. And it works with an Active Directory DC ("Domain Admins" has been created in AD) (DC on 2008 Server, PV Converter on 2000 Server SP4).

    Hi,

The environment: Windows 2003 Server, spanish language.

I tried to change the TEMP path, but it didn't work for me. Then, I created a new group "Domain Admins", and set the administrator account ("Administrador" in spanish) as a member of this new group. Et voilà! In my case, I was trying to install Converter using the administrator account.

A really silly and stupid thing from VMware.

    Regards, à bientôt.
