I am wondering what people's experience is on the threshhold for the maximum number of simultaneous vSphere client connections that can connect to a vCenter Server to access guest virtual virtual machines using VMware vSphere client without causing performance problems or having the server crash. How many concurrent vSphere client connections have your environments been able to support? Obviously there are a lot of variables that make exact predications impossible but a rough guess is what I'm looking for. In this case vCenter Server has 8GB of RAM and 1Gbps Ethernet.
Thanks
Hi,
For vSphere 4.0 the number of concurrent connections to VC are 20 and for vSphere 4.1 it is 100.
