  • 1.  Lifecycle Manager - unable to remediate hosts

    Posted Jan 29, 2021 01:21 PM

After update vCenter to version 7.0.1.00200 build 17327517 I cannot remediate hosts.
When I try to remediate a host or cluster empty window appear with the circle "I am doing something" and it stays on the screen forever and nothing happen.
I have attached capture of the window.
Compliance check has finished correctly with no problem but Remediation or Pre-check Remediation does not start and stays in that empty window.

    Any idea?

    Thanks.

With previous vCenter version 7.0.1 build 17005016 I patched hosts with no problem.

I am having the same issue, upgraded/patched from early 7.0 build to 17325551. Shows there are a few critical patches that need remediated but I get the same "working on it" circle. Hopefully we can get an answer.

This might sound stupid, but did a forced refresh/clear cookies/another browser work? The forever turning wheel can be pointed to these facts a lot of times.

Would you look at that... works in Chrome, same issue in Firefox though. Thanks!

I had the problem in Chrome.

But after several weeks it works fine even in Chrome and I did no change.

It was propably a problem with a web cache in browser.

    Thanks everybody!
