    hello

I ma planning new ESX cluster for data center and considering following licenses:

VMware vSphere 6 Remote Office Branch Office Advanced (25 VM pack)

VMware vSphere 6 Enterprise Plus for 1 processor

These ROBO licenses are much cheaper then ENT plus. I cannot find comparison between these 2 licenses.

As I see main limitation maximum 25 vm ( but this is enough for us for the moment) and this cannot be upgraded for more vm ( I think).

But still not sureif this is only thing I should consider especially if I do not see comparison chart for these 2 licenses on vmware sites...

    Can someone advice

    Thanks in advance

First, today you always buy vSphere 7.  Robo exists in 3 different editions

    1. Robo Std. which is similar to vSphere ESXi Std.

    2. Robo Adv. which is similar to vSphere ESXi E+

    3. Robo Enterprise. ... i see it adds "DRS and VM Encrption"?

Iam unable to locate an edition comparison :smileysad:

Keep in mind that you need a vCenter Foundation (max. 4 Hosts) or vCenter Std. ("unlimited").

You should consider a Essentials Plus rather than a Robo if this is your inital setup.
