    Hi,

I recently upgraded  to vCenter 4.1 and ESXi 4.1. I was running vCenter 2.5 and ESX 3.5 before.

I have some issues with some VMs. They are running Citrix Metaframe XP. If I keep the old VM Tools on them, everything is fine. But as soon I update the VM Tools to be up to date, I can't connect to the Citrix MF servers anymore. As soon I uninstall the VM Tools, I'm able to connect again.

Any idea how to solve that? Citrix won't help since that version is "end of life" since 2007 I think.

    Thanks

    David

Safe to assume that with the modern Vmware Tools, you can still ping the VMs and other types of network connectivity (RDP?)

Any event log errors?  Check to make sure Windows Firewall didn't re-enable...

Yes... everything is working fine on the server. There's no errors. I can connect to it with the ICA client manually configured but as soon I connect to it through NFuse, it's not working.

Well.... looks like I found another argument to upgrade those old Citrix servers.....
