    Hello All,

    Hope everyone good & safe.

    I am having old home lab i7 4th gen / 32GB / 1Gb I218 / Iomega PX4-300D (iSCSI based storage) / CISCO SG250-8 NW Switch

I am having ESXi 6.7 running which deliver 700Mb/Sec throughput on iSCSI devices.

Today i installed ESXi 7.0U2 and to my surprise performance is dropped to 450Mb/Sec.

I switched back to ESXi 6.7 performance was good back to 700Mb/Sec.

Is there any changes or tuning need to be done at ESXi 7.X hypervisor?

I have check basic networking everything is good.

Did anyone faced this type of issues? or

    Please guide me to troubleshoot!!!

    Take Care & Stay Safe.

    Hello,

For this type of scenario, it is best to use the esxtop tool and validate the performance metrics at the storage level and thus have a clear vision of what we are looking for.

I attach a reference link on performance metrics and storage troubleshooting so that you can compare them with the values that your ESXi returns.

You can share the capture to give you more details of the metrics when you do the review,

    referral link.
