Hey guys! I am still new at this so i'll try to explain to the best of my ability.

We're using Dell Compellent as our storage, I created a shared Volume which is Mapped to our environment in VSphere. I've created a new Datastore which point to the storage I created in Compellent. I log onto my VM (server 2008) that is also located on the same host as the database, used the windows iSCSI Initiator to initiate the connections and everything says Connected. When I go into my disk management, I do not see any new storage devices?

    CHAP is not enabled.

I did a rescan of disk

I hope that makes sense, sorry for any confusion, still new at this.

You're connected to the target, but have not bound any devices. To resolve this, open the iSCSI Initiator Properties window and click on the Volumes and Devices tab. You'll need to configure the specific devices to bind, or use Auto Configure to add them all.
