  • 1.  Integrating HQ with IBM Tivoli or HP OpenView

    Hi Forum,

    Are there any possibilities to integrate HQ with other Enterprise Management Systems like Tivoli or OpenView?

    I am thinking of sending alerts, etc.. to an already established implementation of such an EMS.

    After reading the forum, it seems that e.g. outbound SNMP traps are not possible?

    Hi,

    you can send SNMP traps as part of an escalation scheme:
    http://support.hyperic.com/display/DOC/ui-Admin.Escalation

    Another way of integrating Hyperic HQ is the HQ Web Services API:
    http://support.hyperic.com/display/DOC/HQ+Web+Services+API
