    please check vmware compatibility guide for esxi 6.7 on   DL380p G8.

    thanks but my processor is

    Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2690 v2 @ 3.00GHz with 10 core

    that is not in matrix

    ProLiant DL380p Gen8 is not supported with ESXi 6.7. Although it is not recommended to have an unsupported configuration, you can use the ESXi 6.7 HPE custom image should you decide on proceeding with 6.7 version -

    Hello,

    beacuse of low budget, I installed ESXi 6.7 on my DL380p G8 (2x Xe2660V2,128Gb, P420i 1Gb) without problems,

    the server is a cold backup in a working system.

    Prior to install ESXi I installed Server2016 and updated BIOS and controller firmware.

    I simulated the disaster recovery (restore os the VMs and all) and the domain was functional!
