    Good morning.

    On a server with Esxi 8.0 Update 2, I created a vm with oracle linux 8 with a 128 GB thin disk.

    The logical disk occupies about 15 GB. So I was able to check with the df command and this is what the Esxi Host Client tells me when I query it with a browser for storage.

    However, via a shell connected to the esxi I see that the physical occupation is 128 GB. Why this difference?
