I lost access to simplivity datastore from a host. I connected to ESXI via ssh. I wanted to unlink it but I get a warning that I need to check vmkernel.log. The vmkernel.log link points to this datastore as the path. Should I change the path manually? I could not remove the datastore from the vSphere.

I think I cannot unmount it because my log paths show the datastore that I cannot access. Because when I try to unmount it, the warning I receive says "Unable to complete Sysinfo operation. Please see the VMkernel log file for more details.: Busy". I checked the virtual machines. Any CD/DVD drive or disk on the host does not use this datastore.

Can log paths change? What should I do?

Make sure that no snapshots are using the datastore.

The host cannot access the datastore at this time. Can the virtual machine run with a snapshot?connectivity.png

As I mentioned, the problem was that the syslog path pointed to the datastore to which I lost access. I changed the syslog path. I unmount the datastore. I mount it. Problem solved.
