I have a 2024 M4 iMac, running Sequoia 15.5. I've spent at least eight fruitless hours trying to connect to the internet via my Ethernet connection to activate Windows 11 Pro and use my VMware Fusion 13.6.2. VMware Fusion 13.6.2 indicates a green connection status, yet it still prompts me to install a driver for the connection. I cannot locate this "driver"; I am lost and frustrated. If someone can help, please do. I would so much appreciate getting my essential graphics apps operational.

It sounds like you are installing Windows 11 ARM from media that you downloaded from Microsoft. If so,  Windows ARM does not contain a driver for the VMware virtual network adapter that Fusion's providing to the virtual machine. That's why the Windows OOBE (out-of-box-experience, also referred to as windows setup) wizard is asking for a driver installation.

The good news is that the driver you need to complete the installation (and get access to the network) is found in VMware Tools. See either the unofficial companion guide or this link https://community.broadcom.com/vmware-cloud-foundation/discussion/windows-11-arm-iso-now-available-for-download-from-microsoft for detailed instructions (including a walk-through) on how to install the network driver from VMware Tools.
