  • 1.  HP Proliant DL380 G6 for ESXi

    I was looking at the VMware compatibility guide and I couldn't find "HP Proliant DL380 G6 2.26GHz QC X5520 24GB Server".

    Could someone please tell me if I can install ESXi on this server?

    Studying for VCP.

    Intel Xeon 55XXseries is supported. The server on ebay only is Single (1x) Intel Xeon 2.26GHz X5520 Quad Core. Doesn't have the XXseries. so I am confused if it is supported.

    The value XX on 55XX series means that is supported for any value for the XX, for example 5520, 5550, 5560, 5570, etc.

    this image will be having preinstalled drivers for your server.
