    Hi,

    Check the files /var/log/messsages and /var/log/boot.log with "syslogd " entry startup succeeded or restarted.

    Hi,

    Check the command "last",I am not sure if the command works(now I am not at the server to check)

    In linux last will show all the users who logged in and out since the last time the file /var/log/wtmp was created.

    What you can do to double check is go through any user logged in around the time of the reboot is to check their .bash_history file in their home directory to see if their is a reboot command in it.

    I have checked on esx "last" show history of reboots and the user rebooted it

    I have checked on esx it shows history of reboots
