Run Windows in Ubuntu with VMware Player is an article that lead me to VMware, but I have no idea what to do now. I am unable to figure out how to download, let alone use the VMware player. If only VMware experts are able to set-up and use the VMware player, then I will need assistance from the experts.

Download VMware Workstation Player for Linux here: https://www.vmware.com/go/getplayer-linux  (Or read the details on the Download VMware Workstation Player page.  Note that Workstation Player is free for non-commercial, personal, and home use.)

Installing it is more complicated than your usual point-and-click Ubuntu software package, but there are detailed instructions here: Install Workstation Player on a Linux Host

Hope this helps you get started!
