how to save log file in text edit in ssh

  • 1.  how to save log file in text edit in ssh

    Hi, 

    I am new on vmware. 

    Somebody could inform me how to save text editor and return the command line?

    I use putty open VC appliance. using VI open cloudvm_ram_size.log to configure rotation.

    After edit, I do not know how to ext and return to command line.

    for saving and exit with in "vi" press ESC-Key following by

    ZZ

    these are two uppercase z.
