For network tests I want to know to reset the couters from the command ethtool -S vmnic0 ?

I have rx_missed_errors so want to test were this comes from.

For linux there is a guide

I've searched around, but it seems the only way to reset this counter is to reboot the host. A bit excessive if you ask me, but if you have shared storage and vMotion, you could easily empty the host and do a reboot without impact.
