Veeam Reporter is great for this.

    Anything free though?

Anything we already have in VI3?

VC has a built in perfomance monitor, you can export from there. Hightlight the cluster, vm or host, click on the performance tab. and export from there.

Also, Veeam is free for 30 days, but after that you need to purchase

This only does the 1st highlighted item.

The only two options that I am aware for 'free' are to either pull from the Virtual Center database or use VI Powershell Toolkit.

Hi Everyone, thank you for mentioning Veeam! I just wanted to note that Veeam Reporter is now a part of another solution for monitoring, reporting and capacity planning (Veeam ONE).

Speaking about freeware, Veeam ONE Free Edition can be a good start. It provides a subset of the functionality of the paid version, including 24*7 monitoring and alerting, performance reporting and so on.

You can download Veeam ONE Free Edition here: http://www.veeam.com/virtual-server-management-one-free-resources.html

Please let me know if any questions will appear.

    Hi,

I created a simple PowerCLI script which can grab performance data and give it in a csv file. Check out here  - Multiple VMs performance report in single excel | netGet.
