  • 1.  How to Check the Compatibility Guide for Old Version Servers

    Posted Aug 07, 2023 04:24 AM

    hello
I'm looking for the last ESXi version where BL460c gen7 is supported.
However, there is no information in the current VMware Compatibility Guide due to the end of support for the hardware.

Where can I find the system compatibility guide for older versions?
Or, if you have information about the last supported version of BL460c gen7, please share it.
    thank you

While you can't check compatibility for the entire system, you can look at the compatibility of the individual components. If all your components are supported for a specific version, you can always try to upgrade and see if you encounter any issues.

That said, there is no guarantee for success here and you should do proper testing before moving ahead.

Vendor should also have a matrix list with supported ESXi

It will definitely help if you can get access to the customized images for the host.

    Good luck.

Check for system and IO device compatibility here: https://www.vmware.com/resources/compatibility/search.php

    Thank you all.
It doesn't seem to be accurate information, but I think it supported only up to about 5.0 as the screen below.
