  • 1.  How to check ESXi 4 install location?

    We have ESXi 4.0 server with 2 storage areas... I would like to check which one contains ESXi 4 installation. How can I do this?

    Welcome to the VMware Communities forums. In the vSphere client select Configuration > Storage. Select each Datastore and click Properties. If ESXi is installed on one of the LUNs you'll see a bunch of DOS partitions in the Extent Device listings.
