how to auto power om vm after it move to another esxi

hi

i have three esxi 6.5 and i configerd ha from vcenter

when i do force shutdown to one of three esxi the VMs on this host move to another hosts put it dosn't powerd on

its still power off and i powerd on manual

how i can configer that if vm move to another host it still power on

You can configure HA and admission control. Or Verify your DRS rules affnity.

hi,

the 'Host Failure Response' of HA hast to be selected as 'Restart VMs' to restart VM on other  hosts in the cluster after parent host failure.

Please refer the section 'Respond to Host Failure' in vSphere Availability guide for the detailed steps.

Hold on... you are powering off a host? If you power off a host then VMs will not be restarted as you initiated the power-off. http://www.yellow-bricks.com/2014/04/04/esxi-dcui-shutdown-vs-vcenter-shutdown-host/ Normally you use vMotion (migration) in the web client to move running VMs first.
