  • 1.  How do i patch my esxi 6.5 hypervisor?

    Hello.

    I see in "packages" category that i have updates to install, but when i push "Install update" i have to "Enter the URL or datastore path of the VIB below", but i haven't tis url. I tryed to find any instructions, but didn't find any solution.
    Can you help me please? I have free license.

    Hello mmgit​,

    There are many options for updating/patching/upgrading ESXi but you obviously need the patch data to do this (e.g. a VMware/vendor custom ISO), overview of options available and specifics linked from here:

    if you don't have VCenter the Most strait forward way to upgrade is to copy zip file to local datastore and use CLI. visit this link it do help you:

    Don't afraid of addressee when you are typing datastore name or generally addresses just press tab to auto complete the address
