  • 1.  Hosts now take 7-10 hours to move into Maintenance Mode?

    for about the last 2 weeks - more suddenly than not, I'm seeing that our 6.7 hosts are taking HOURS to get into MM. We do have vSAN, but i always choose the "Ensure Accessibility" option, so there is no data moving. I can see that all VMs are moved off of the host within a minute or two, but the host sits there in an "entering Maintenance Mode" state - not quite hung, because its moving, just very VERY slowly and EVENTUALLY gets there...... Has anyone seen this?

    DERP.

    My default storage policy was only set to tolerate 1, so when one host went to MM for patching, it pretty much HAD to evacuate all the data in order to maintain access to all the objects.
