I have a Lenovo system X3650 M5 running esxi 7.0 U3 connected to a 7.0 u3 Vpshere instance and no matter what I try. I cannot get the host TPM alarm to clear on the Lenovo I tried clearing TPM chip in BIOS menu I tried CMOS clear and then TPM clear I tried re-adding the host to my datacenter. all do the same exact thing. when the Lenovo joins I get:

Unable to provision Endorsement Key on TPM 2.0 device: Failed to parse RSA Endorsement Key certificate found in TPM 2.0 device's non-volatile memory

    and

    Host TPM attestation alarm

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Not sure whether https://support.lenovo.com/ec/en/solutions/ht507385 helps, but it may give you a hint about what entries to look for in e.g. the hostd.log.

Yeah, I've seen that article before

But that was for esx 6.7. I have 7.0

And turning TPM off or 1.2 mode really don't seem like a fix
