I am implementing VMware ESXI 6 as my virtual hosting solution.
i have 2 VM's that i cannot administer properly due to american keyboard layout on the console. i am in the united kingdom.
i have:
United Kindom selected in the "configure keyboard" option on the VM host.
its also selected as the language on the install of the virtual machines (server 2012 r2)
however when i launch the console there is a little american flag next to the full screen icon, clicking this allows me to choose German or Spanish etc but not UK, only English US.
how do i get other keyboards etc.
the main issue is that when using the server with power-shell, simple characters such as backslash are not available making using the server very difficult.
