    Hello,

We are planning to move our file server to vSphere 5.0 but when I tried to convert Physical server to virtual I got error (currently P2V will not support GPT disks) so I dismounted GPT disk and converted physical server to virtual. When I tried to add new HDD resources to my virtual machine maximum capacity it supports is 2TB!! How can I add more capacity virtual disk?

    thanks, Jebin

a vmdk can be 2tb max

so split your data to use vmdk

or use raw mappings , ie: place the data raw on a 10tb lun
