Hi all,
Im a newb in ESXi, AND im testing in a HP Ml110 server, but the cooler is running always in 100%. The noise is loud.
Thanks if someone can help me.
I'm not familiar with this model, but I think there are some settings in the system's BIOS regarding power and fan activity.

Typically when that happens, the motherboard is expecting drivers inside the OS to control fan speed dynamically. If those drivers are not installed, the fans will default to 100% for safety reasons.
You can double-check with HP support to see if such a driver exists for ESXi. You can run ESXi on just about anything for testing, but before going into production, check the VMware Compatibility Guide to make sure your hardware is fully supported.
Before installing I updated the BIOS to the latest version and this caused the problem. Found in the HP forum a patch to fix this problem. And it did not happen only with ESXi, same happened with Windows.
Thanks, problem resolved!
