How much free space there is on datastore where virtual machine swap file is located ?

    Hi Richard

There is still around 100GB of free space in the datastore .

There are no snapshots . This vcenter appliance (8GB)  is installed under ESXi Server (4GB)  which is installed under VMware Workstation 10 ( Nested ) .

Well, the error is telling you that there is no space left on the OS. So you can extend the size of the OS and then try again, or if you're referring to the vSwap file, check to see if its stored with the VM (Default) or if its been moved to another datastore (i.e. the host's swapfile datastore - which could be out of space as well).

The issue was resolved by reserving the amount of memory for the VM inside the Settings for Memory .
