    Hi ,

    i have ESXI 6.0 and i tried to install it on VMware and it took too much time without any change and i couldn't do the install .

    so i tried to download higher version of VMware which doesn't support ESXI 6.0 , so i tried to search for 6.5 and it seems i can't downlaod without buying it ?  as student can't i get it for free ? i know that there is free trial of 180 days , where i can get this version ?

    If you install ESXi from an ISO it will run in 180day trial mode by default. Thats ideal for students ...

    I attach the links where you can get the Free version (has several limitations), if you do not have a user for the VMware web you can register for free.

    Note .... the installation will run in Enterprise mode until you enter the serial number that comes with the link mentioned above.
    Entering the serial will then cripple the system to the feature-set of the free version.
