ESXi and NetXen 4port NC375T NIC

Apparently, support for this card was released with ESXi 3.5 U5. However, my ESXi box running ESXi 4 U1 does not appear to support it. I know the card is be detected because I can see it when looking at the "Configure Passthrough" screen. Does anyone else have this card working in an ESXi 4 machine?

A quick look at the Hardware Compatibility List does not show that card although I do know that 3.5 U5 does have support. I would not assume that support in one version would necessarily mean there was support in another version. I would look through the patches to see if there is something for 4.

Yes, I looked through that and came to the same conclusion. It appears that 3.5 u5 (where support was added) was released after 4.0 u1. Either way, I am surprised that the HCL hasn't been updated to list the card for 3.5 u5 yet. Hopefully they will produce a driver for 4.0 soon that can be installed via the CLI.

After a little research, I found that though the HP NC375T card is not listed in the HCL (while cards such as HP NC364T are), the chipset itself is now supported using the drivers from http://downloads.vmware.com/d/details/esx_esxi40u1_qla_nx_nic_dt/ZHcqYmR3QEBiZGVqdA==
