  • 1.  ESXI 8 Evaluation Period

    Hi,

    Our ESXI 8 evaluation period is about to expire, we are busy with procurement but its gonna take some time. Is it possible to extend the eval period? Also if it expires, will the VM`s on the host stop functioning?

    Once the eval expires, the VM's will continue to run. However, you won't be able to manage them, or power on a VM. Third party applications (e.g. VM based backups) will also not work anymore.

    What you can do, is to request a 90 day eval from the Broadcom support portal (can only be done once).
