  • 1.  ESXi 7.0 Hosts - Host is not in compliance with the attached profile

    Good afternoon VMware Community,

    I have an issue one of my sites is experiencing. We noticed that our ESXi 7.0 hosts are throwing a "Host is not in compliance with the attached profile" alarm and then hosts keep cycling from good to "Not Responding" back to good in vCenter. (see pic)

    An error is coming back "Host is not in compliance with the attached profile". We are fairly novice with managing issues like this.

    What would we need to do to get them back connecting? We thought it was a timing issue with NTP. The time comes from the AD DS.

    The vCenter is at another location that connects to this site via a VPN tunnel.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Maybe its just timing issues with running vcenter over a VPN tunnel.  I would try to increase the heartbeat timeout.
