Essential plus 6.5 with intel gold 5120

Acording the HCL the past year gold Intel 5120 processor is compatible up to version 6.0 u3.  It looks rare that a processor launched on 2017 does not support last vmware version.

Any comment would be appreaciated

Hello,

VMware dosent decide on compatibility of the hardware and any particular limit for any hardware.

Its the Hardware vendor who tests the hardware with VMware products and tell us that is we can update our compatibility guide to supported versions.

As hardware vendor tests all the hardware's with required firmware and drivers. If everything works fine without issues, then they would provide us a update to allow the use of vSphere visions on particular hardware.

It's definitely compatible with much more than vSphere 6.0 U3.
