Error from VMware vCenter Converter Standalone Client

I need to convert a bunch of VMs from an old Windows Server 2016 host with HyperV.

I installed VMware vCenter Converter Standalone Client on that host and tried to convert powered-off machines, but every time I run the wizard and enter the Admin credentials, an error appears above the wizard page for any of the machines: The source configuration is invalid, corrupted, or not recognized.

How can fix this error and proceed with the V2V conversion?

Maybe your Hyper-V VM configurations are incompatible with VMware vCenter Converter Standalone. Try to update Integration Services on the Hyper-V Host or try exporting the VM and pointing the converter to the exported files. Additionally, you can use another conversion tool like Vinchin Backup & Recovery or StarWind V2V Converter to convert the Hyper-V VM to VMware ESXi format.
