    Hello team, I  have been working on a case with a server that used this HBA controller (Emulex LightPulse LPe16002B-M6-D 2-Port 16Gb Fibre Channel Adapter ) , however when it was upgraded to version 7.0 U3 and the driver lpfc version 14.0.169. 25-5vmw he no longer had access to the datastores then, he followed with installation of an old driver, 12.0.257.5 and the datastores were recognized, however when searching for the driver link to manually apply the lpfc version 14.0.169.25-5vmw has no link available, follow the reference link;

    I have already opened a case with the customer at vmware, but just to give you an idea, have you guys had this problem, or if someone has the link to this driver to apply it manually, that will help us;

    You need OEM driver.

    on the same page where you see the driver, if you select esxi 6.7u2 , you have option to download lpfc version 12.0.257.5 driver.

    Hello,

    I ran into the same exact issue - you are correct the fix is to rollback to 14.0.169. 25-5vmw. However to get that driver you need to extract the HPE Depot zip file and within there you will find the driver that you need. You download it by itself. I came across this HPE article which outlined the same issue you are having with the HBA i have.

    I had to download an unzipthe HPE Offine bundle and extract the lpfc vib with the proper version. Install that vib and reboot. Then I was golden.
