Resolved. I’ve waited months for a reply and have moved to a different platform and will be moving the rest of my customers off VMware as soon as possible.

It looks from this what is written that you should ask for trial when you have already one product bought, while only then you get an SiteID. The Enterprise customer is for Broadcom every one, if I know correctly while they try to have almost same support to all customers.

According to the Trial Instructions, one requirement is:
- Trial licenses are available only for Enterprise customers (required to have at least one site ID).
So it appears as though trials are only for paying customers. Kind of defeats the purpose of a trial, if you ask me. Regardless of whether I'm paying for/own any of your other products.

Hi Jerry,
the link to the support portal is:
Home - Support Portal - Broadcom support portal
is also possible to find it on the right upper corner of the Broadcom site.
When you log in then you will see on the left site the the menu where you will find the Trials & Beta.
And there you can find the needed applications.
When you will look at VMware products then you must also have chosen the VMware Cloud Foundation from the drop down menu on the left site from your login name.
The application what you will see there are selective to you. It choose the Broadcom based on what you have putted by registration and have set in your preferences.
Here is also a direct link if you cant find it:
Home - Support Portal - Broadcom support portal
Hope this has leaped you.

Would be nice if you included a link - the support portal is not the most intuitive portal.

Hi,
in the support portal you can find a Trial / Beta menu where you can ask for trial version of any VMware program. You will get license for 90 days to test it and if I know correctly you can for each ask once, but I think this will be revised that you can ask for it by each new majority update to test it (hope :-) ).

Is there such a thing as an evaluation download of ESXi 8.X any longer with the Broadcom take over? Looking for an evaluation of ESXi essential plus and can't find it anywhere.
