Does vCenter work with Microsoft Hyper-V?

  • 1.  Does vCenter work with Microsoft Hyper-V?

    I was just wondering if I could use the vCenter to manage VMs from Microsoft Hyper-V? We also run a Hyper-V in our environment and would be convenient to manage everything using vCener, that is if possible

    I've searched on the Vmware website and found there is something called "vCenter Multi-Hypervisor Manager Server" and "vCenter Multi-Hypervisor Manager Plug-In" that are needed to integrate the vCenter with Hyper-V. But those docs are dated back in 2012-2013 and nothing newer than that.

    And the recent vCenter version 7 does not mention anything about this. Or it does support but I did not know? (I am pretty new with VMware ESXi and vCenter)

    Could someone provide me some info on this? Thank you in advance

    No, vCenter only works with ESXi hypervisors.
