  • 1.  Display IP of iSCSI target

    Posted Mar 29, 2019 05:27 PM

I apologize for the very basic question.

Given a VCSA 6.5 managing several ESXi hosts, how can I display the IP address of the iSCSI taget associated with a given datastore?

    Regards

Within the vSphere Webclient select Host->Configurre>Storage Device and in the lower on the Device details select the "Paths" tab. Take a look to the column "Target" and there on the end of the line you see a IP:3260.

Similar .... select Host->Configurre>Storage Adapter->ISCSI Adapters and in the lower under Details the "Paths" tab.

There is no directly reference to the Datastore Name but you have the LUNs.

    Regards,

    Joerg

    Configure Tab

    Storage Devices

Select the DataStore you are interested in

    Select Paths Tab

Look for the path that "Active I/O" - the target should comtain the IP address
