  • 1.  Dell T7500 compatibility !?

    hi all

    does anyone know if Dell T7500 compatible with EXSi v5 ??

    these are the spec

         dual L5640

         ATI FirePro v3750

         PC3-10600R

    It looks like the T7500 is a workstation PC and is not on the VMware HCL.

    I did look at the components and according to me it probably works.

    If this is for a lab or home use, give it a try. If not then look at the HCL and get a tested and supported server instead.

    it is for home lab,

    the issue is I do not have a choice to test them,

    I am buying from ServerMonkey.com ,,,

    guys please confirm

    someone told me that dell T7500 works with ESXi but with X series processors like for example X5650 !?

    is that right ??

    It does , I am running version 6 but due to a nasty mouse bug i want to upgrade to 6.5 or better 6.7 but i do not know if that works
