  • 1.  Dedicated HW to SQL server

    Hi all

    I'm in a project where I need to move one 6 TB  (SQL server 2014) database from a physics server to a VMware ESX server host

    The decision is to move it to a dedicated server

    Is there some configuration parameters that need to be adjusted to get the best performance in vSphere for SQL server

    on dedicated hardware.

    I am DBA and I know about the configuration of SQL server

    Can you send me in the right direction :smileyhappy:

    Thanks for your reply, this is a very large document

    Where are the most important things to be aware of

    Do I just have to run my VM without changing a single parameter in

    Is there anyone who has practical experience with this, what is most important
