    VMware 6.5

Just built new VCSA 6.5 after my previous one crashed and would not work

I use Veeam B&R to create backups and replication jobs

I have several Datastores Internal and NFS

The NFS datastores work fine they are in the default policy

The internal datastores are in the VM Encryption Policy.

On my other Vcenter I have the same setup and the datastores both internal and NFS are in both policys

I found this DOC  Change the Default Storage Policy for a Datastore

But when I go to the Datastore select it choose configure and under general section I do not see the Default Storage Policy pane

    Am I missing something here?

    Thanks

    Tom

Close this and marked as resolved

I ungraded my VCSA to 6.7 now all working.

I assume you mean "upgraded" LOL.

But I am already at vSphere 7 (vCenter is U3, ESXi is U2). When I select any of my datastores, just as you described, there is no "Default Storage Policy" pane on the Configure > General.

DOC: "Change the Default Storage Policy for a Datastore" https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/7.0/com.vmware.vsphere.storage.doc/GUID-A5B23ECF-EE2A-4180-9C21-3F05BCA86EE0.html

So other than ungrading to 6.7, what is the solution here?  Where is the Configure > General > Default Storage Policy pane?!?!
