Creating a http referral plugin

Hi,

Sorry for the noob question.

Basically I'd like to make a plugin to monitor which sites I am getting the most referrals from by doing something like seaching the http access log or something.

I've looked at things like http://support.hyperic.com/display/DOC/Plugins+Tutorial but I'm still a little lost and I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to help me get started?

a script plugin that should help you ..

1. write a script to analyse & out data as key=value
2. use the script file in plugin.xml
